The Thompson Abridged Reference Bible was introduced in January 2007. It contains the complete King James Version text. What makes it "Abridged" is that it contains only 2,000 life-related topics taken directly from the Thompson Bible. This Bible has the same great notes Dr. Thompson scribbled in the margins of his Bible over a century ago, but they've been reformatted so that it's easier to follow the linked verses on a topic. We've placed intriguing notes on archaeological discoveries near related Bible passages. We've compiled Dr. Thompson's insights on a specific Bible book into one-page Bible book introductions. In short, we took the key insights contained in the Thompson Chain-Reference Bible and presented them in a fresh and easy-to-use format. The "Abridged" also contains a Concordance, comprehensive chronological charts and tables, a daily Bible Study Calendar, and colored maps. The Thompson Abridged Reference Bible is available in Bonded Leather and Kirvella (a durable man-made polyurethane with the supple feel of calfskin). The charge for engraving is $6.00 for one line and $13.00 for two lines (up to 22 characters per line).
